Rhythm Times is a local classic jazz trio with longtime Sacramento Area guitarist/singer Jimmy Spero, violinist and mandolinist Dave Rietz,  and bassist Shelley Denny. It all started when Jimmy and Dave met in a Gold Card Room set. Dave, a Western Swing Hall of Fame inductee, handles melody and rhythm with ease, and a duo was born right there and then. After a few gigs and some performances at The Acoustic Den in Roseville they brought in Shelley, with his vast experience and skill,  to complete this fully improvisational group. Come on and enjoy some of those "good old good ones" and some newer tunes as well.
