BIOGRAPHY
Thanks for the inspiration: Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, Django Reinhardt, Chet Atkins, Doc Watson, Buddy Guy, and many others. You showed me something beautiful.
My musical journey started when I was very young. Vacationing in Mexico, my parents took me to a curio shop to buy a guitar. That guitar became my best friend.
Exposure to music intensified when I remained in San Diego for a number of years after discharge from the U.S. Navy. I moved to Sacramento in 1990 and became active as musician.

The guitarists Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery and Django Reinhardt are big influences. I love to perform chordal arrangements of jazz and pop standards, as well as classical, country, bluegrass, reggae, funk, and classic rock 'n' roll.
​
Also, backing up singers is a joy (I do a lot of this). The interplay of guitar and vocals is a special treat.
As an old sax man I knew in San Diego used to say: "Life's a Gas!
